8 months

Yesterday our little Trent turned 8 months old! I can't believe how time is flying! I know it's only been 8 months...but so much has happened in his short little life! He is such a precious little guy and I can't express how much I love him! I've said it before & I'll continue to say time & time again. I am sooo very blessed! Happy 8 months Trent ! Here he is on his 8 month mark...nothing glamorous! Just us :)

Trent's accomplishments to date

• crawling All over the place & managing to get into everything
• as of 2 days ago he now has 4 teeth = 2 lowers (in October) and most recent recent both of his lateral incisors....same exact pattern Drew got his teeth....makes for a pretty goofy look :) Laurie said Jess' came in the same way.
• For the most part sleeping through the night.
• Stealing the hears of everyone he comes in contact with!!!
• Clapping when he likes something :)

New Adevnture

Yesterday was a huge day for little Drew...he started a New Adventure in his little life! He had his very first day of Preschool. It isn't just your average preschool. We are so excited that he is now a student at New Adventures Preschool! Drew was placed on a wait list about a year and a half ago. YES a wait list! You know somewhere is GREAT when the there is #1 a wait list and #2 one that is years long!! Not only was it a huge day for my little guy...but one for mama as well! Drew has been at home with me since the day he was born...minus a few slumber party's with his Grandparents. It's been him and I for years now!! I literally bit my fingernails all day, I missed him so much!! I knew he was having the time of his life, but I was a basket of emotions! I seriously cannot believe that I have a child old enough to be in Preschool! It breaks my heart that he is growing so fast! I want to cuddle him in my arms forever! It's a great start for both of us being only two days a week! Stephanie Pasquali, the owner is a true angel...I dearly love her!! She has been a past neighbor and loyal CAbi customer but has now become a friend!! One I am very blessed to have! I couldn't be happier to leave him in the care of anyone else!!

WELL BESIDES SHANNON...who too has a Daycare that Drew would probably rather be at! If we were closer to Aunt Shannon we would be there to play every day!! But until that day comes ;) New Adventures it is!!

As most of you know, I recently started a very side hobby of making a little this and that's! Well I'm tickled to pieces that I this little side endeavour is sort of BLOWING UP!! I can't believe it! Who knew that ME a mother of two boys...would be in various shops selling girly goods!! I started off with little girl flower hats & headbands. But now I must admit I'm mostly loving making mama (women/girl) goodies! Giving them away as gifts has been a great blessing in return! People are noticing them & wanting them! So needless to say my little fingers are a flying making headbands and hair clips & I'm loving every second of it! Not to mention the MONEY!!! heheh!!

Rain Rain Go AWAY!!

I am so over this rain! It's most defiantly cramping my style! Not just because it make it miserable to go out and about with the kiddos, but it has Jess stuck at home too! Don't get me wrong...it is fantastic having him at home to spend good quality time with us! BUT, being a stay at home mom, I kinda have a routine that we are set with around here! And Jess has his own ideas of how it should be ran around here!!

But that's the least of my complains! Dry weather pays our bills! This RAIN makes it impossible for him to work...you can't really operate heavy equipment on soggy ground! So, since I don't see it drying up anytime soon, it looks like I'll have to re-write our daily routine! :) One that's more suitable for my darling husband! One that includes a little Sports Network....rather than cartoons & Food or Style Network.It has me cooking Bulkier meals suitable for a grown man rather than whipping up quick breakfast & lunch for Drew.

I feel horrible for him, I do know that he loves spending time with us. But he is such a Hard working man sitting around the house drives him crazy. That's why you wont find him sitting EVER...he is constantly doing something! Which then makes me feel like I have to too....so no lazy rainy days around here! NAZI Jess has this place in tip top shape! I love him so much....BUT I sure wish this rain would stop!!!!!!!

Wardrobe Changes that is! Lately for my little Drew there have been AT LEAST 6 or 7 A DAY! And they aren't just your basic change of clothes or jammie's. It's a full on Character Change. Each with a new name for himself and act to follow!! He has quite the imagination. There is rarely a dull moment around here....nor a clothes free bedroom floor for Drew.

Since my last post was ALL Trent, I figured I'd even things out with a Drew post! So I have literally ran for the camera each time he turns the hallway corner with a NEW OUTFIT/IDENTITY! Here is what we have captured between yesterday & today...

So as you can see things are a bit Ridiculous! Obviously by the looks of this photo below he has gotten the idea that he is getting major attention by his changes. And has now made his way into Mommy & Daddy's closet...and has dressed himself in MY purple top & Daddy's Jeans & shoes!!

So that's enough of that! Jammie's are on and the room is clean....NO more changes until tomorrow!!

Little Man on the Move

As of 2 days ago Trent has become a little man on a mission! He is all over the place, and I'm remembering what it is like to have a little one into EVERYTHING! He is growing so fast...it breaks my heart a little!

Jake's Birthday

Yesterday Jan 4th, would have been Jake's 31st birthday! Instead of sitting around being sad I decided that we should go ahead and do what he had requested just a couple of months ago! He announced he wanted his birthday at Cool Hand Luke's this year...my my goodness that's what we did! He has some pretty fantastic friends, who I love! They are pretty Great guys if you ask me! I wish so badly he was there! It was just one year ago when we were all together celebrating his 30th birthday at a big bash Levi & Katie threw for him at the Rosser's!

Yesterday I went to his grave and took a big planter full of flowers. I can't wait for his headstone to be done!! The grounds keepers finally planted seed! Just the day before I had stopped by and sprinkled dirt I had brought home from Grandad & Grandma's house! I hope he had a great Birthday in Heaven & saw us at his party...I miss him so much!!

Home from the Holidays

We are now home from our Holiday Travels. We had a VERY different holiday experience this year. Not only were we missing Jake tremendously this Christmas, a huge storm had us in all different places for Christmas. Needless to say we finally had a Christmas on Dec 29th. Regardless to when Santa was able to reach the kids, we eventually were ALL TOGETHER, and it felt nice! I was told a few weeks ago that for this Holiday Season we should change it up a little, and do things a tad bit different. Doing this might make things a little easier, rather than doing the same old routing dwelling on how strange it was to have Jake gone!! Maybe the horrific Oklahoma City Storm, was a blessing in disguise...because of that storm things were anything but routine! I still am trying to figure out a positive outlook as for why our luggage was lost for 5 days...NOTHING LIKE WEARING THE SAME CLOTHES FOR 5 DAYS IN A ROW!!!!!

Stacie and Ricky decided to plan some fun activities. They suggested bowling..we had a vote and bowling we went!! I have never been a fan of bowling until now!! We had a blast! Here is the whole crew minus James...he had flown home the night before:(

A common occurrence around Grandma & Grandads house! Although this was our first night there & there were not enough adults for the usual game of hand and foot (our favorite card game) So we resorted to a little Jump frog! A game grandma had bought for the boys...wound up being one of my favorite games of all time! Check out my amazing photography of frogs mid air...(it only took about 20 try's)

To be surrounded by so many handsome boys. This was the first time I have ever visited Walden bunch as a grown up, and I'm so happy I did! I had a great time & sure love these boys!

Uncle Joe and Aunt Darla's Boot shop & Country Junction is by far one of our favorite places on earth! Not a Texas trip goes by that we don't go spend WAY TOO much money on the boys!! We LOVE it there! And of course LeAl's Mexican food while in Clovis!

A New Gun for ME!

I'm as happy as can be!! I have asked Jess of a gun for as long as I have been with him...and my Amazing Grandad was generous enough to give me a double barrel shotgun out of his very own gun case!! I ADORE IT!! And can't wait to show up the guys at the next trap shooting!! I have never owned my own gun!!!! I Will keep it forever, I love it!!!

Traveling in Style "Van Halen Style That Is"

Chris And Kristi drove us from Hereford to Mom's house in OK. The trip started off with a snow storm...but turned into a beautiful day! We took their 40 foot RV (Chris told Jennifer it was Van Halen's old bus, and she bought it!) She text all of her friends, Silly girl! We had a blast..never has traveling with babies been such a pleasure!! Thanks Chris And Kristi WE LOVE YOU!
