I Hate Surprises

As much as I hate to admit this, and as how horrible as it may make me sound there is nothing that I find good about surprises! It literally makes my skin crawl to be in the unknown! This is a total personality flaw...most women Love surprises!! I can barley stand a wrapped present in the house!! As a child I would unwrap & re wrap it in time before my parents came home! I will admit that I have impeccable wrapping abilities that I could always mimic my mothers professional job to a T! They never knew...until I became an adult and ratted myself out! Now days I hate it just the same! If someone says they have a surprise for me, I will go above and beyond to find out!

But this post isn't about me!

Its about my husband Jess!

His 30th Birthday is rapidly approaching (it's this Thursday, the 29th) and for him I have in store a FABULOUS SURPRISE 30th Birthday BASH!! The invites have gone out and the details are all being finished this week! It's this Saturday night in Auburn! He has been tricked to help out a Friend with a catering company, thinking they need an extra hand for the bbq!! Since I have kept in in for nearly a month...IT'S MY TIME TO BURST! The hardest of it all is laying next to him in bed biting my toung at night wanting nothing more than to discus all of the rsvp's that have come in, fun venue details, menu, ext. I can't help but share with readers!! He will never read this, because he doesn't know how to log in to anything :) I'm in the clear here!!

So, get ready for the BIG DAY'S Details in a post next week! I can't wait! I just hope that none of the 100+ invited friends spill the beans! At least I know I have for once been completely successful in this whole sruprise business! Boy it's been rough!! But, I have done it!! SO FAR!!! My mother in law says she is proud of me :)

I HATE IT!!!

But I LOVE him so much & I hope he LOVES his surprise!

Keeping Cool

Wheew it HOT !

Here is how we are keeping cool!

We couldn't have timed Drew's swim lessons any better!

Jess & I took turns being the parent in the pool! On the days it was my turn, I didn't want to leave at the end of his lesson! We wish we had a pool so bad! Drew started off Terrified, but by the end of his lessons he was able to jump off the diving board and make it to the side!

SO this picture is of my measly yet fabulous jump that I landed the other day! Please know that this in on my landing way down! So, I know I'm only like 1 foot in the air, and compared to the guys who jump like 5 feet while doing amazing tricks this may seem LAME to you! But I'll be there soon! The last few years have had me delayed in my skills, because I've been having babies and all! BUT by the end if the summer Iguarantee I'll show you some fancy mid air trick! Just wait and see! For now I'm proud of this :)

Evenings at the Park sure help too!

Little Bro...

Is not so little these days! Today is my little brother James' 21st Birthday! Hooray, how exciting to be 21! He is off living in College Staion, Texas going to College, and dating a darling girl! I am so proud of the man he is becoming!

For those of who don't know my brother, he is deaf! Because of that our family uses sing language! I think that everyone should know sign...you should learn if you don't know how! Teach your children...there is nothing more precious than chubby baby hands signing! He's awesome & I love & miss him dearly!

So this ones for you BrotherHappy Birthday!!!!

Dirty Thirty

White Trash Dirty Thirty that is!

It seems that everyone around us is turning thirty! In honor of all of our friends who are 30 this summer, a DIRTY White Trash 30th Hoe Down was thrown! I am going to warn you that this post is EXTREMELY Trashy . But hey... this is what we're up to :) The entire way there I said over & OVER...I Can't believe we are really going somewhere dressed like this! What if we were to get into an accident, what are people going to think?

EVERYTHING ABOUT THE EVENING WAS REPULSIVE!

Pig's in a blanket, KFC, Chilly & Cream Cheese Dip, Cheese Balls, were a few of the item on our fine dining menu!

I've never seen so many bra straps, tattoo's, cut off denim, and hoop earrings! Christmas lights in July was a must...colored Christmas light at that! And the ambiance of the Trailer was the perfect touch! And who in a million years would have thought to wear MEN'S UNDERWEAR as a shirt....2 people there!

One Down Many To Go

Drew's Party was last weekend and it great fun! It's affirmative that my home has now officially turned in to a BOYS PARADISE! We have EVERY BOY TOY known to man! He insisted on a Knight Party...but Cake & swords is about as far as I took that theme! Since it went back & forth between Knights, Ninjas, Superman, Pony's and Baseball.

Then of course his awesome Preschool celebrated his Birthday! He felt Pretty special!

So Drew's Long Drawn out Birthday is said and done, we only have a million left for the month! INCLUDING MY OLD MAN OF A HUSBAND, who TURNS 30!!

Dum, Da Dum, Dum Dum!!!!

I am pretty busy planning something out of this world for that occasion!

BUT Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh about that!

Up in the Air

High atop the Fair, is where my little guy & I went to find the rest of our crew! We got a bit lost from the rest of the gang so me & my sweetie tried to spot them from up in the air! Instead of looking we just visited about all sorts of stuff & enjoyed ourselves, just the two of us! The ride was everlasting, and of course EXTRA sketchy, and squeaky!!! I think the operator gave us a few free rounds, what a peach! Lucky for me I hadn't eaten one of my favorite treats FAIR CORN DOGS yet!We eventually found them!

We had our corn dog's, (they were delicious by the way) and had a bunch of fun!

Wedding season is in full gear for us this summer! So many couples dear to us are saying I DO this summer! I just LOVE weddings, and can't wait to see what life brings to these beautiful couples!

My Birthday Boy

Yesterday my sweet little Drew turned 4 years old! It was a day he's surly not to forget! For his Birthday he received a PONY!! She was previously named Sweet Pea, and that she is! We branded some calves in the morning & when it was all wrapped up Drew wanted to head for the house to open presents & cake. That was until he was taken to the trailer and was introduced to his NEW PONY!

WAIT FOR ME GUYS!!!

The Pony Surprise was followed by more gifts at home then some swimming to finish the day off!!

Drew is looking forward to his Big party this Saturday!!

It was the cutest thing ever!

I can't believe he is getting so big...I want to cuddle him in my arms and stop him from growing! I love this little guy so much...I just can't get enough of him! The last four years have been the best of my life! !
